Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy

At BUMZY, we carefully inspect every order before dispatch. If something is not right, we are here to help.

7-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 7 days after your order is marked as delivered.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed and in the same condition in which it was received.

  • All original packaging, tags, accessories, manuals, promotional items and parts must be included.

  • The product must be in a resalable condition.

  • You must provide the order number or other proof of purchase.

Returns that show signs of use, misuse, damage after delivery, missing parts or altered packaging may be declined.

Submitting a return request does not automatically mean that the return has been approved. Every request is reviewed by BUMZY before acceptance.

How to Request a Return

You may also contact us at support@bumzy.in with your order number and reason for return.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions explaining how and where to send the product. Please do not send any product back without prior approval. Unauthorised returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping Fee

For an eligible change-of-mind return, a flat return shipping fee of ₹99 will be deducted from the approved refund amount.

The ₹99 return shipping fee will not apply if:

  • You received an incorrect product.

  • The product arrived damaged.

  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.

  • Parts or accessories were missing from the package.

  • The delivered product was materially different from its description.

In these cases, BUMZY will arrange an appropriate replacement, return or refund after reviewing the request.

The original delivery charge, if any, is non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered. If the product is damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete, contact us promptly at support@bumzy.in.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs or videos showing the product, packaging and shipping label, where reasonably available

We will review the issue and provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, return, repair where applicable, or refund.

BUMZY will not charge return shipping for an accepted claim involving an incorrect, damaged, defective or incomplete product.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot normally be returned for change-of-mind reasons:

  • Products marked “Final Sale”

  • Gift cards

  • Personalised, customised or special-order products

  • Perishable products

  • Opened or used personal-care and hygiene products

  • Opened consumables, fragrances or products with broken hygiene or safety seals

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases

  • Products damaged through misuse, improper handling or normal wear and tear

  • Products returned without their original accessories, parts or packaging

Final-sale or otherwise non-returnable items remain eligible for an appropriate resolution if they are delivered damaged, defective, incorrect or materially different from their description, subject to review.

Please contact support@bumzy.in before purchasing if you are unsure whether a particular product is returnable.

Exchanges

Direct self-service exchanges are currently unavailable.

If you need a different eligible product or variant, request a return for the original product. After the return is approved, you may place a new order separately.

For a damaged, defective or incorrect product, we may offer a replacement depending on stock availability.

Order Cancellation

You may submit a self-service cancellation request within 1 hour of placing an order through:

A cancellation request does not automatically cancel the order. We will review the request and confirm whether it can be accepted.

If the order has already been packed, handed to a courier or shipped, cancellation may not be possible. You may contact support@bumzy.in for assistance if the one-hour cancellation window has passed and the order has not yet been dispatched.

If a prepaid order is successfully cancelled before dispatch, the applicable refund will be initiated to the original payment method.

Refused COD Orders and RTO

If a Cash on Delivery order is refused, repeatedly undeliverable or returned because of an incorrect/incomplete address or customer unavailability, it will be treated as Return to Origin (RTO).

BUMZY may restrict COD availability for customers with repeated refused or undeliverable orders.

Return Inspection

Once the returned product is received, we will inspect it and notify you whether the return and refund have been approved.

Inspection is generally completed within 2 business days after the returned product reaches us.

If the returned product does not meet the eligibility conditions, we may decline the refund or contact you regarding the available options.

Refunds

After a return is received, inspected and approved:

  • Prepaid-order refunds will be initiated to the original payment method.

  • COD-order refunds will be processed to a verified Indian bank account or UPI ID provided by the customer.

  • Approved refunds are generally initiated within 2–5 business days.

  • Your bank or payment provider may require an additional 5–10 business days to reflect the amount.

Payment gateway charges, return shipping fees and original delivery charges may be non-refundable for change-of-mind returns to the extent permitted and disclosed in this policy.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact support@bumzy.in with your order number.
